Alice’s foundation for Social Work, organizes an exhibition to commemorate World Autism Day on 2 April 2019
New York, NY- Alice’s foundation, a non governmental organization, was established in 2005, works towards promoting social progress, economic growth, and human rights. On the occasion of the World Autism Day, Alice’s foundation is organizing an Exhibition at the United Nations to help raise awareness for people with autism and educate audience on how it is like to live with autism.
Alice’s foundation is working In collaboration with Autism Speaks, to host this one day exhibition creating a platform that will help break the barriers that hamper the inclusion and full participation of person with Autism in society.
The one day exhibition will be open to all visitors, to UN employees and Member States. Your participation at the exhibit will not only encourage those NGO’s but will also be an opportunity to see the world from the eyes of autistic people and be a great opportunity to buy their merchandise and help raise money so they continue their noble mission.
Autism is a complex disorder that affects the brain. It impairs an individuals’ social and communications abilities and often causes them to display unusual or repetitive behaviors and interests. Currently, around 1 in 100 children are diagnosed with autism.
