Anyone can relate to this article from the New York Times talking about when an injury sidelines runners from enjoying what they most enjoy in life. Being a runner myself, and always trying to avoid being injured, i can totally relay to how the writer is feeling, especially when she says: “If I hadn’t spent more than a decade doing this one physical thing that brings me so much joy — and has kept me healthy, happy and strong — I wouldn’t know what I was missing, and what I’ll be getting back to, sometime later this year.”
Everyone of us has this one thing in life that is so precious to their daily wellbeing. Once we get to be deprived from practicing it, we feel lost.
A very well written article.
